The journalist, who is from Jerônimo, posted a video of herself arriving at her aunt’s house. In the post made on Instagram, Patrícia spoke about the relief of knowing that Jane was okay. “And despite the difficult times, today was a day of relief for me and my family,” she said. “For a few days we had little communication and then none with my aunt Jane – my father’s only sister.”
“I came for work to report on everything that happens here, but today I managed to leave to go to her house and see the situation. I went with my heart pounding, but prepared for anything”, she reported. “These two days of seeing many things prepared me a little for this. Thank God, when I got there, she was safe and well. Seeing her open that door and smile brightened my day.”
“Sometimes we don’t talk, but in the midst of this tragedy, we also have our dramas, worries and sadness… So, let’s be empathetic. I just hope that the joy I had today is that of many other families. Stay here, thank you to everyone who they have been tireless in their search and help”, he concluded.
