St. Vrain Valley fifth-grade students in gifted programs across eight elementary schools will showcase their Shakespeare performances on Friday at Collyer Park.
Performances begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 12:15 p.m. at the park at 600 Collyer St. Four stages will be set up with students performing simultaneously. All students will deliver one performance and watch one other school’s performance.
The Shakespeare in the Park Festival has become a mainstay for fifth-grade students since the event was first created in 1997. Participating elementary schools are Erie, Black Rock, Blue Mountain, Central, Highlands, Lyons, Niwot and Soaring Heights.
