Mother’s Day 2024 and the two Clásicos Regios of the league will generate an economic benefit in the restaurants in Nuevo León of 910 million pesos.
The Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Foods Industry of Nuevo León (Canirac NL) highlighted that both events, which occur in the same week that runs from May 6 to 12, will benefit its members.
On Mother’s Day, which this time falls on Friday, they will produce 700 million pesos throughout the week, detailed Daniel García Rosales, president of Canirac NL.
While the two Liga Mx league matches between Tigres and Rayados, which will be held on May 9 and 12, will contribute another 210 million pesos.
“The important thing for the date (Mother’s Day) is a 25 to 30 percent increase, that is what is going to happen this Friday… versus last Friday, without Mother’s Day,” García said.
“Of course it is an important weekend because they are very representative dates, in which we usually go to restaurants and that is why against a weekend without this type of events there is this increase.”
According to Canirac NL, there are more than 22 thousand restaurants in the state, which employ about 500 thousand people.
