The former American president donald trump accepted this Friday the proposal of debate launched by the current head of the United States Executive, Joe Bidenand proposed that this be held in the White House any day between Monday and Friday of next week.
“I am willing to do it on Monday night, Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night or Friday night, on national television (…) We will do it at the White House . That would be very comfortable actually.“Trump said outside the New York court where he is being tried criminally.
The former Republican president, who is being tried in that court for falsifying accounting records to buy the silence of a porn actress and protect his 2016 electoral campaign, challenged Biden again and again in his appearance: “I’m ready. Just tell me where.”he assured to add that it would be available “even tonight”referring to this Friday April 26.
“He (Biden) said today ‘I’d love to debate,’ but I don’t think he’ll debate. I don’t think he has that confidence. That’s how things are. I am ready, willing and I look capable, but I don’t see him that way. Maybe next week I will accept, but I doubt it,” Trump said.
In addition, he once again referred to the process that is open in the New York court, which concludes its second week this Friday, as an “attack” against him with political motivations and “well coordinated.”
“I am here for an accusation of Biden to try to win the elections. “I invited him to come to court,” commented the Republican politician.
Regarding Biden’s proposal, It is the first time that the president explicitly says that he is about to sit down to debate with Trumpsince he had previously avoided committing to it, and had even conditioned his participation in the debates on the “behavior” of his future Republican rival.
And the thing is that, until now, the Biden campaign had questioned Trump’s ability to respect the established rules in an eventual debate and, until now, his campaign had not finalized any plan in this regard.
