Angra dos Reis – Two accidents were recorded this Tuesday, (23) in Angra dos Reis/RJ, São Jorge state holiday. One of them was on the bypass road, near Praia do Bonfim, involving a motorcyclist who was seriously injured. The other was at Morro da Cruz, towards the city center, also a victim removed to the HMJ.
Fire Department teams were called to a collision on Avenida Vereador Benedito Adelino, near Praia do Bonfim, on the Contorno road. The victim, aged 21, was rescued by an ambulance in serious condition and taken to the Japuíba Municipal Hospital. At the beginning of the evening, the unit reported that the victim’s condition was stable.
The other collision involving a car and motorcycle was recorded on Tuesday afternoon (23), on Rua Prefeito João Gregório Galindo, near Morro da Cruz.
The 58-year-old motorcyclist was injured and was also taken to the Japuíba Municipal Hospital. There is no information about his health status. In both accidents, traffic was stopped to remove the victims and then released.
