Visit Ligonier: Shop, Dine, Play and Stay this spring and summer

Welcome to the Ligonier Valley!

We invite you to stroll our streets. Many people are drawn to Ligonier, with its tree-lined streets, interesting shops, and bandstand on the Diamond in the center of town. Others come for our many recreational activities like skiing and snowboarding, fishing, golfing, hiking and biking our state parks or on scenic roads.

Plan Your Stay: Ligonier has over 60 specialty shops, galleries, restaurants, and places to stay, and is home to many museums and outdoor adventures. The scenic valley surrounding the town is home to Idlewild & SoakZone — voted “Best Amusement Park for Children in the World” — as well as the Compass Inn Museum, Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, Linn Run State Park and fantastic biking and hiking at Laurel Mountain. The scenic valley surrounding the town is so beautiful at this time of year — it is a town for all seasons.

Mark Your Calendar: The Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce is kicking off its event calendar for 2024. On May 11, join us for the Wine, Whiskey & Sweets Walk from 1 to 5 p.m. Sip while you walk, sampling over 15 different local wines, whiskeys, and sweets! Registration is required at ligonier.com. The Ligonier Country Market opens on Saturday, May 18. Enjoy music on the Diamond every Sunday evening starting on June 16 with our Sunday Evening Band Concerts.

To see more about these events, visit business.ligonier.com/events.

No matter why you visit Ligonier, we hope you will come back often to enjoy all our beautiful town has to offer.
