Cabo Frio – A woman was arrested for receiving stolen products, on the afternoon of Wednesday (24), on Rua VirgÃnia, in Jardim Caiçara, in Cabo Frio.
According to the police report, a team was patrolling the bus station area to prevent illegal activities in the vicinity when they observed a woman acting suspiciously, placing a backpack under a vehicle. When approaching her, the police found a cell phone without an operator chip in her possession.
When checking the surroundings, the police located several bags and backpacks. When searching the volumes, they found several more cell phones and tools.
Given the situation, the woman was taken to the 126th Police Station to give a statement. At the police station, the owner of a store that was robbed in the early hours of last Tuesday (23) recognized the seized cell phones as being some of those that were taken from his establishment.
After analysis by the police authority, the woman was charged with the crime of receiving possession.
